What’s the Issue? 

Error in adding data enrichment entry

Describe the Issue in Detail

         


When adding and submitting new enrichment we are getting  " Error in adding data enrichment entry" in front end.



Solution Summary

  1. We added additional datatype validation in TYPE3 Header.
  2. Also we observed we receive error message " Error in adding data enrichment entry" only when its for duplicate entry else it works fine. i.e two IP addresses can not have same Host name.

Solution Steps in Detail

  1. We have added additional datatype validation in TYPE3 Header in /opt/data_config_store/config/data-enrichment/1/1 server-list.yml file.
  2. Hostname was already present for some other ip, So we were unable to add it again.
  3. And we are using 8.5r9 vusmartmaps version so it will show like this " Error in adding data enrichment entry".
