What’s the Issue?  On multiple dashboards getting Request to ES failed (Reason: Trying to create too many buckets).

Describe the Issue in Detail For vuTraces, as we instrumented more than 15 jars/services in one application where from multiple servers we were getting traces of instrumented jars/services. Now since the number of buckets count was very large, on multiple dashboards we were getting Request to ES failed (Reason: Trying to create too many buckets).  Please find attached screenshot for reference.

Solution Summary 1. Dashboards were operated/saved with pre-filters (service/Trace ID wise) for longer duration's and separate/customized views were created for holistic data analysis.

Solution Steps in Detail As Increasing the max bucket value would’t prove to be an optimal solution as if we double the value also we will be able to query a small duration of data holistically in our case and in return we will have to deal with overall slow response from ES for other generic requests. Hence, dashboards were operated/saved with pre-filters (service/Trace ID wise) for longer duration's and separate/customized views were created for holistic data analysis.
